Earth and Arts Festival
The Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival is returning to the heart of Suffolk on April 20, 2024, promising a day filled with creativity, culture, and community spirit. Organized by Keep Suffolk Beautiful and the Suffolk Art League, the festival will run from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. Organizers are delighted to share that this year's festivities will be hosted on Main Street in the historic downtown area.
Historic Garden Week in Virginia - Suffolk Tour
A botanical delight, Riverview is situated on a peninsula flanked by two waterways, Lake Meade and the Nansemond River. Featuring custom homes built in various architectural styles during the early to mid-1900s, this picturesque neighborhood is conveniently located close to historic downtown Suffolk. September 14
Taste of Suffolk
This event will stretch down Main Street from Finney Avenue to Washington Street, and along West Washington Street to Saratoga Avenue. Main Street will be lined with Suffolk's independent restaurants presenting their signature menu items. Sample an assortment of flavors while enjoying all-day entertainment!

Peanut Fest Parade
See you at the Suffolk Peanut Fest Parade on Saturday, October 5th in Historic Downtown Suffolk, North Main Street and West Washington Street.

Downtown Suffolk Fall Festival
Sunday, October 27th in Historic Downtown Suffolk. Free & Open to the Public. Fall drinks, family fun, games, petting zoo, and kids' activities.
November 22
Grand Illumination
With the flip of a switch, you will be graced by the radiance of our handsomely decorated holiday tree as we light up beautiful Downtown Suffolk! And that’s not all. Come out to enjoy crafts, music, and the one and only Santa!
December 14
Holiday parade
View the sights and sounds of the 2024 Suffolk Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 7:00PM. Find the best spot to watch the floats, equestrian units, marching bands, and festival vehicles as they make their way down West Washington Street, and turn up North Main Street, with the parade route ending at Finney Avenue.
May - November
Suffolk Farmers' Market
Conveniently situated at the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion, 524 North Main Street in Downtown Suffolk, the Suffolk Farmers' Market runs each Saturday from 9:00AM until 1:00PM, May through November. Admission is free and open to the public. Special markets, including the Artisan Gift Fair and Winter Farmers' Markets, can be found at SuffolkVaFarmersMarket.com.
